Jasper Tudor briefly regained the earldom of Pembroke a couple of years later when his half-brother, King Henry VI, was restored to the throne, but following the return of King Edward IV from temporary exile in 1471, Jasper fled again to the continent.

21 de dic. de 2015 · On 21st December 1495, Jasper Tudor, 1st Duke of Bedford and 1st Earl of Pembroke, died at his manor at Thornbury at the age of around sixty-four. His entrails were buried at the parish church at Thornbury and the rest of his remains were laid to rest at Keynsham Abbey, according to the instructions he left in his will of 15th December.

17 de oct. de 2017 · After raising support they met the forces of Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth Field on 22nd August 1485. Richard was killed during the battle and Henry Tudor was proclaimed King Henry VII. King Henry VII restored Jasper to the Earldom of Pembroke and gave him back Pembroke Castle.
