Appointments can be booked by calling 0208 363 4156 or online via our website – www.whitelodgemedicalpractice.nhs.uk. The site can be accessed through your PC, tablet or smartphone. You can make an appointment to see a Nurse for dressings, stitch removals, child and adult immunisations, smear tests and annual checks for high blood pressure, diabetes and chronic lung conditions such as asthma, emphysema or chronic bronchitis. These appointments can be booked up to four weeks in advance.
We reserve a proportion of appointments for patients with acute illnesses who need to be seen the same day. These are for urgent health problems only. All our patients have a usual GP with overall responsibility for their care and support. This includes dealing with your prescriptions, test results, clinical letters and reports. Please give as much notice as possible when cancelling appointments. By cancelling in good time, the appointment can be offered to another patient. You can cancel or change your appointment online or by calling the surgery.
Sometimes problems may take longer to deal with than expected and a Doctor or Nurse may be called to deal with an emergency. We will try to keep you informed if delays to your appointment occur.
