Susanna Hall (née Shakespeare; baptised 26 May 1583 – 11 July 1649) was the oldest child of William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway and the older sister of twins Judith and Hamnet Shakespeare. Susanna married John Hall, a local physician, in 1607. They had one daughter, Elizabeth, in 1608.

Susanna Hall. Susanna Shakespeare was baptised on 26th May 1583, six months after her parents, William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway, were married. Susanna married John Hall, a physician, at Holy Trinity Church on 5 June 1607.
Susanna Hall, William’s Daughter. Susanna Hall (nee Shakespeare) was the elder of Shakespeare’s two daughters. She was baptised on 26th May 1583 at Holy Trinity church in Stratford upon Avon and died on 11th July 1649. She married Dr John Hall in 1607. They had one child, Elizabeth.
Susanna Shakespeare and John Hall were married on June 5, 1607, according to the Holy Trinity Church parish register. Next to the entry, an “X” added by a later hand highlights its significance. Susanna, William and Anne Shakespeare’s daughter, was 24.

The house that we call Hall’s Croft was the home of William Shakespeare’s daughter, Susanna Hall, and her husband, physician John Hall, from 1613-1616. The building stands in Old Stratford-upon-Avon, positioned on the corner between Church Street and Old Town.
