Campbell and Home were executed on April 8, 1795. In 1780, John Sr. left Scotland for Grenada and died shortly after his arrival at Belmont Estate on May 31, 1780, at age 75. He was buried in the estate’s cemetery, and his grave can still be visited today. Also buried at the cemetery, is a former Overseer, James Dodds.
