5 de may. de 2018 · The 1941 Dodge WC3 Power Wagon was built by Chrysler for Uncle Sam during preparations for U.S. involvement in the war. Durable four-wheel-drive Power Wagons were key to victory in the ground war, rating right up there with the Army Jeep in its importance to the Allied cause.
This 1941 US Army Dodge WC-3 truck, shown with 1/2 Ton trailer, has been restored by the Estrella Warbirds Restoration Crew to pristine condition. It makes frequent appearances at local community events and has drawn various awards for its condition.

The original civilian version, commonly called the "flat fender" Power Wagon (FFPW) or "Military Type", was mechanically based on Dodge's 3/4-ton WC series of World War II military trucks. The Power Wagon was the first 4x4 medium duty truck produced by a major manufacturer in a civilian version.

History. The Dodge WC series was a range of light military trucks produced by Dodge and Fargo during World War II. The series included weapon carriers, telephone installation trucks, ambulances, reconnaissance vehicles, mobile workshops and command cars. They were replaced after the war by the Dodge M-series vehicles.
