5 de may. de 2024 · Rudolph, the youngest member of the U.S. Olympic team, was one of five TSU Tigerbelles to qualify for the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. Rudolph was defeated in a preliminary heat of the 200-meter race at the Melbourne Olympic Games, but ran the third leg of the 4 × 100 m relay.

European Athletics is sad to hear the news that Melbourne 1956 Olympic Games discus champion Olga Fikotova-Connolly has passed away at the age of 91 on Saturday (12). The Czech thrower was the last living female Olympic athletics gold medallist from these Games.
