La violinista encargó al compositor español Antón García Abril seis partitas solistas, cada una con un tema, cuya primera letra se combina con las otras para dar forma al nombre “Hilary”.
The violinist has commissioned Spaniard Antón García Abril to write six solo partitas. Each has a theme, the first letter of which combines with the others to create the name “Hilary.”. As with Bach’s partitas, the use of a solo violin draws us deep into a reflective inner world of many emotions.
