I’ve seen about half of the new Lady Gaga A Star Is Born but I discovered that there are two other versions at least. I love Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand so I plan to watch both soon. What’s everyone’s opinions on the different versions? Also how different are they? because I know the new one doesn’t have the same songs as the old.

When the film opens, Jack has a fully embodied identity, at least in his stage presence, where he is confident, strong, and assured of his art. Once he leaves the spotlight, he regresses into a haze of booze that grows steadily darker as the film progresses.
