La riḥla (en árabe, رحلة) es un género literario clásico de la literatura en lengua árabe que consiste en el relato de un viaje. La palabra rihla, que propiamente significa «viaje por etapas», designa tanto el viaje como la posterior crónica del mismo. El género aparece en el siglo XII en el occidente del mundo islámico: el Magreb y Al-Ándalus.
The Rihla, formal title A Masterpiece to Those Who Contemplate the Wonders of Cities and the Marvels of Traveling, is the travelogue written by Ibn Battuta, documenting his lifetime of travel and exploration, which according to his description covered about 73,000 miles (117,000 km).
