Achille Funi (26 February 1890 – 26 July 1972) was an Italian painter who painted in a Modernist take on the Neoclassical style.

Achille Virgilio Socrate Funi è stato un pittore italiano, fra gli iniziatori del movimento artistico del Novecento nel 1922 a Milano. È stato anche scultore, architetto, illustratore, scenografo e grafico. Negli anni trenta ha teorizzato e praticato il ritorno alla pittura murale.

Achille Funi was a key figure in the major art movements that characterized Italian art in the first half of the 20th century: from his Futurist research to his attention to the poetics of Magical Realism, from his dialogue with New Objectivity to the modern classicism of the “Novecento” group up to the muralism of the 1930s.
