3 de may. de 2024 · Agnes Keith, Countess of Moray, kept jewels to cover her husband's expenses, Hans Eworth, Darnaway Castle. After Regent Moray was assassinated in January 1570, Mary wrote from Tutbury and Sheffield Castle to his widow, Agnes Keith, asking for "our H", the "Great H of Scotland" and other pieces.

The marriage produced three daughters: Elizabeth Stuart, 2nd Countess of Moray (? - 18 November 1591), married between 23 January 1580 and 1581 James Stewart, 2nd Earl of Moray; Lady Annabel Stuart (? - before 1572)

17 de abr. de 2024 · During his period as Warden of Moray, Comyn was so successful, it may have been the reason he received the hand of Marjory (aka. Margaret), Countess of Buchan, sometime between 1209-1212. Her father Fergus, Earl of Buchan, had no male heirs and so in marrying his daughter to William he ensured a suitable line for his titles before his death.
