Ahmed Djemal (Ottoman Turkish: احمد جمال پاشا, romanized: Ahmed Cemâl Pasha; 6 May 1872 – 21 July 1922), also known as Djemal Pasha, was an Ottoman military leader and one of the Three Pashas that ruled the Ottoman Empire during World War I. Cemal was born in Mytilene, Lesbos.

It was claimed that Ahmed Cemal agreed in early October 1914 to authorize Souchon to launch a pre-emptive strike. Ismail Enver had only once taken control of any military activity (Battle of Sarıkamış), and left the Third Army in ruins. The First Suez Offensive and the Arab Revolt are Ahmed Cemal's most significant failures.
Fue asesinado el 15 de marzo de 1921 por un armenio llamado Soghomon Tehlirian, que lo consideraba responsable de ordenar la masacre de su aldea; Tehlirian fue arrestado, juzgado y absuelto por la justicia alemana. Fue sepultado en el cementerio turco de Berlín.
Ahmet Cemal Eringen (February 15, 1921 – December 7, 2009) was a Turkish engineering scientist. He was a professor at Princeton University and the founder of the Society of Engineering Science. The Eringen Medal is named in his honor.
