Al Copley (born Almon LeGrande Copley, 1952, Buffalo, New York, United States) is an American blues pianist and singer, plus arranger and co-founder of Roomful of Blues. After 16 years with Roomful, Copley relocated to Europe in 1984, and back home to the US in 2010.
The Boca Raton residence was terrific, and Al will be back next winter again. The Founders (featuring 5 original members of Roomful of Blues) are at it again in May, with a date at the Knick and a spot on the Rochester Lilac Festival in upstate NY.., and of course, Al returns to the Ocean House in May. He is best known as an artist for his abstract expressionist paintings, and as a scientist for his work in the field of hemorheology.
