Albert Salmi (11. maaliskuuta 1928 Brooklyn, New York – 22. huhtikuuta 1990 Spokane, Washington) oli yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä, joka oli taustaltaan amerikansuomalainen. Brooklynissä asuneeseen suomalaiseen siirtolaisperheeseen syntynyt Salmi kävi armeijan ja alkoi vuonna 1951 opiskella metodinäyttelemistä Lee Strasbergin ohjauksessa Actors Studiossa . [1]
Albert Salmi, a first-generation American born to Finnish immigrants, started life in Brooklyn, New York, on March 11, 1927. Some sources list his birth year as 1928, but 1927 is the date on his memorial plaque. 1927 also fits better mathematically with the generally accepted “graduated from high school, then served in the Army during World War II” timeline attributed to his youth.

Hänet voi nähdä viikoittain näyttelemässä uudessa "Petrocelli"-sarjassa. Elokuvista ja sarjoista tuttu Albert Salmi ei ole supertähti, ja tuskin tulee koskaan olemaankaan. Mutta Suomessa hän on sankari.
