Hace 5 días · In October 1601, Alexander's son, David, revolted from the royal authority and seized the crown, forcing his father to retire to a monastery. David would die a year later, on October 2, 1602, and Alexander was able to resume the throne.

He probably should be called Alexander II (a few people do actually call him that but not many). But Severus Alexander is counted for being knowledged as "Severus I". Even though he should really be Severus II on the count of recognizing Septimius Severus as the first Severus. In Crusader Kings 2 and 3 he is the Second Alexander.
