Alexander Robert Maule Ramsay, ( 29 mai 1881 - 8 octobre 1972) est un officier de la Royal Navy. Il est l'époux de la princesse Patricia de Connaught, le plus jeune enfant du prince Arthur, duc de Connaught et Strathearn, troisième fils de la reine Victoria. Sir Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie (c. 1290–1342) (sometimes spelt: Dalwolsey [1]) was a Scottish nobleman and knight who fought for David II, King of Scots in the south of Scotland in the Second War of Scottish Independence. He is remembered especially for his actions during the siege of Roxburgh Castle .

Alexander Ramsay, the younger son of the Arthur George Maule Ramsay, 14th Earl of Dalhousie married Princess Patricia of Connaught who was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Their son was Alexander Ramsay of Mar and his wife, the Lady Saltoun, chief of the Clan Fraser, are members of the royal family, by the Queen’s personal wish.
