She was born as Alix, Princess of Hesse and by Rhine, or Hesse-Darmstadt. There needs to be some sort of consensus on the listing of Russian consorts, as is/was going on. Personally I agree that, as with Mary of Teck and Alexandra of Denmark, she should be Alix of Hesse, or Alix of Hesse and by Rhine.
