     Alicia Esther Lardé-López Harrison (Alicia Nash) nació en San Salvador en 1933 y falleció en 2015. Ingresó al Instituto Tecnológico de Massachusetts (MIT) en 1955 para estudiar física. Fue una de las pocas mujeres que estudiaron en el MIT en la década de 1950. Luego trabajó en el Brookhaven Nuclear Development Corporation y para RCA como ingeniera aeroespacial. Luego fue programadora de sistemas en Con Edison y más tarde para el sistema New Jersey Transit como programadora informática y analista
