The Principality of Calenberg was a dynastic division of the Welf Duchy of Brunswick-Lüneburg established in 1432. Calenberg was ruled by the House of Hanover (from the Principality of Lüneburg) from 1635 onwards; the princes received the ninth electoral dignity of the Holy Roman Empire in 1692.

Guillermo II el Joven (en alemán: Wilhelm II. der Jüngere) (c. 1425 - Hardegsen, 7 de julio de 1503) fue un príncipe alemán de la casa de Welf, hijo del duque Guillermo I el Victorioso y de Cecilia de Brandeburgo. Desde 1473 fue, junto con su hermano mayor Federico III el Turbulento, príncipe de Calenberg y de Gotinga.
