The Animal Trilogy consists of three consecutively released Italian gialli films by Dario Argento: The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970), The Cat o' Nine Tails (1971) and Four Flies on Grey Velvet (1972). The giallo trilogy has had an influence on horror films and murder mysteries made outside of Italy since the late 1960s.
