Anna of Saxony (7 March 1437 – 31 October 1512) was a princess of Saxony by birth and an Electress of Brandenburg by her marriage to Albrecht III Achilles, Elector of Brandenburg . Life. Anna was a daughter of the Elector Frederick II of Saxony from his marriage to Margaret of Austria, daughter of the Duke Ernest of Austria.
Anna of Saxony (23 December 1544 – 18 December 1577) was the heiress of Maurice, Elector of Saxony, and Agnes, eldest daughter of Philip I, Landgrave of Hesse. Maurice's only son, Albert, died in infancy. Anna was the second wife of William the Silent.
Biography. Anna von Sachsen, was the second daughter of Friedrich II, Kurfurst von Sachsen (Elector of Saxony) and his wife, Margaret von Österreich, and was born at Meissen 7 March 1437. Anne of Denmark (Danish and German: Anna; Haderslev, 22 November 1532 – Dresden, 1 October 1585) was a Danish princess from the House of Oldenburg. Through her marriage with Augustus of Saxony she became Electress of Saxony.
She married Duke August of Saxony on October 7, 1548 at Torgau, Saxony, and when he inherited the title Elector of Saxony in 1553, she became the electress.
