Answers to Nothing is the second solo studio album by Scottish musician Midge Ure, released in August 1988 by Chrysalis Records. It was the first release by Ure following the demise of Ultravox. Ure wrote, produced and recorded all the songs during the span of months in his 24-track home studio.

Didn't the likes of Mick Karn, Kate Bush, Mark King and Mark Brzezicki have anything better to do with their valuable time? For anyone who thought Midge Ure WAS Ultravox, here's final proof that he was probably their dullest, most conventional member with no answers to anything.

Ure, however, deserves credit for making a good album mostly on his own, with support from Mark Brzezicki, Robbie Kilgore (who had appeared on Steve Winwood’s earlier and no-doubt-influential Back In The High Life), Mick Karn and others.
