Sir Anthony Alfred Caro OM CBE (8 March 1924 – 23 October 2013) was an English abstract sculptor whose work is characterised by assemblages of metal using 'found' industrial objects. He began as a member of the modernist school, having worked with Henry Moore early in his career. [1]

Anthony Caro. (1924/03/08 - 2013/10/24) Anthony Caro. Escultor inglés. Anthony Caro nació el 8 de marzo de 1924 en New Malden. Uno de los grandes maestros de la escultura del siglo XX. Estudia ingeniería en Cambridge entre 1942 y 1944. Después se matricula en la Royal Academy de Londres.
Anthony Caro (1924 - 2013) played a pivotal role in the development of twentieth century sculpture. After studying sculpture at the Royal Academy Schools in London, he worked as assistant to Henry Moore.
