Vida. Antoine Arnauld fue un filósofo, teólogo y matemático francés que nació en París el 6 de febrero de 1612. Comenzó los estudios de Derecho, pero se decantó por la Teología y se matriculó en la Sorbona, donde consiguió el doctorado. En 1641 se ordenó sacerdote y pronto inició una polémica sobre la renovación moral y religiosa.
