Biografía. Nacido en Atenas, se estableció en Alejandría, donde fue alumno de Aristarco de Samotracia, y floreció (floruit) hacia el 140 a. C. En el año 146 a. C. abandonó Alejandría y se estableció en Pérgamo.

Apollodorus of Athens (died after 120 bc) was a Greek scholar of wide interests who is best known for his Chronika (Chronicle) of Greek history. Apollodorus was a colleague of the Homeric scholar Aristarchus of Samothrace (both served as librarians of the great library in Alexandria, Egypt).
