Ark Acton Academy is a non-selective academy.It has about 860 boys and girls aged between 11 and 18. In February 2023 the school was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The present school opened in 2018.
At Ark Acton we believe every pupil should have the opportunity to attain the English Baccalaureate. The EBacc is not a qualification but it is an indicator that an academic curriculum has been studied. Subjects within the EBacc group are considered essential to many degrees and open lots of doors for pupils’ future study and careers.
