La Mafia was formed in Houston Texas, by Oscar De La Rosa (vocalist), and Armando Lichtenberger Jr (accordion) in 1980. The 2 founding members later welcomed Tim Ruiz (bass), Joe Gonzales(drums), Jesus Angel (keyboards) and Viktor (guitar).
