Biografía. Alberto II nació en el Castillo de Habsburgo en Suabia, hijo menor del rey Alberto I de Alemania y su esposa Isabel de Carintia, miembro de la Casa de Gorizia ( Meinhardiner ). By inheritance he became Albert V, Duke of Austria. Through his wife he also became King of Hungary, Croatia, Bohemia, a claim upon the Duchy of Luxembourg.
