Le cimetière compte environ 5200 tombes et 10 000 russes. Depuis la première personne (une pensionnaire de la "Maison Russe" inhumée en 1917), de nombreux russes ayant fui la révolution de 1917 se sont réfugiés en France et presque tous ont été inhumés dans ce cimetière de Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois.
