Back to Earth is the eighth studio album by rock band Rare Earth, which was released in 1975. Jerry LaCroix replaced departed lead singer Peter Hoorelbeke and Reggie McBride replaced departed bassist Michael Urso.

Rare Earth is an American rock band from Detroit, Michigan. According to Louder, "Rare Earth's music straddles genres and defies categorisation, slipping seamlessly between the two seemingly disparate worlds of classic rock and R&B." The band was signed to Motown's subsidiary label Rare Earth.
