The Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College (CCS Bard) today announced the expansion of its library and archives with a new 6,000-square-foot addition. Supported by a $10 million capital project, the Keith Haring Wing will be named in recognition of a lead $3 million gift from the Keith Haring Foundation.
Bard College sophomore Sierra Ford has been named to the 2024 ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge Student Voting Honor Roll. Ford, leader of the College’s student voting initiative Election@Bard , joins a group of 137 students recognized for their voter registration, education, and turnout efforts during the 2023 elections, which featured critical ballot measures and local and state races.

Bard College alumna and Studio Arts faculty member Tschabalala Self has won the prestigious Fourth Plinth Commission with her sculpture Lady in Blue.Her work will be installed in Trafalgar Square in 2026 in what Justine Simons, London’s deputy mayor for culture and the creative industries, refers to as “the most successful public art commission in the world.”
