Barnyard is on par with Kubrick's work in how much detail is put into every frame. There's so much symbolism and hidden meanings that it makes films like Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker look like children's entertainment. Barnyard received negative reviews when it was released but it's really a misunderstood masterpiece that's crying for reappraisal.
