Barry Emmanuel Tuckwell, OBE, AC (5 March 1931 – 16 January 2020) was an Australian French horn player who spent most of his professional life in the UK and the United States. He is generally considered to have been one of the world's leading horn players.

Widely regarded as inheriting the mantle of Dennis Brain following the latter’s death in 1957, he began his professional career while still in his teens, after a musical upbringing as a treble at St Andrew’s Cathedral Sydney and forays into the violin, piano and organ.
