Bedales School is a public school (co-educational private school, boarding and day) in the village of Steep, near the market town of Petersfield in Hampshire, England. It was founded in 1893 by Amy Badley and John Haden Badley in reaction to the limitations of conventional Victorian schools and has been co-educational since 1898.

The school was founded by John Haden Badley in 1893 to be a humane alternative to the authoritarian, single sex regimes characteristic of independent schools, with a philosophy of creating co-educational schooling for the “head, hand and heart”.
Academics: The school offers GCSEs, A-Levels, and its own curriculum called BACs. Bedales School achieves consistently good academic results despite not being overly selective. In 2021, 65% of GCSE and BAC grades were 9-7 grades and 21% of A-Level grades were A grades.
