The Danish architect, who moved to New York in 2012, christened his studio BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) in 2006. “It’s been nearly 25 years since I opened my first practice, Plot, in Copenhagen, and most of the people I work with today have been with me a long time,” he tells me over lunch in the glass box boardroom of his Brooklyn office.
