The VNB Collection had 3500 works. The Buffalo Hunt above was the artist's last work. Bogdanovich was painting the finishing touches on the 26-foot long mural when he accidentally fell and struck his head. He passed away several weeks later, over Thanksgiving weekend, 1970. 6 de ene. de 2022 · Early life Bogdanovich was born in Kingston, New York, the son of Herma (née Robinson; 1918–1979)[14] and Borislav Bogdanovich (1899–1970), a Serbian painter and pianist. His Austrian-born mother was Jewish (her family moved from Vienna to Zagreb, Yugoslavia in 1932); his father was a Serbian Orthodox Christian;[15] the two arrived in the U.S. in May 1939.[16]
