The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Art is a new degree program designed for students who desire a studio education in the visual arts that incorporates substantial study in the liberal arts. Engaging students’ intellectual and creative capacities, the program integrates arts research with broad-based studio art training. Formats. In-Person.
College of Fine Arts Requirements Pre-Screening Requirement. School of Music applicants in cello, double bass, flute, viola, piano, trombone, trumpet, violin, and voice are required to submit a pre-screening recording by December 1. In the 4+1 BFA/MA program, it is possible for serious, focused, and organized undergraduate students to combine the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (majoring in Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, or Graphic Design), with the Master of Arts in Art Education with Initial License degree, completing both courses of study in five years.
