On October 30, in Fort Wayne, IN at a House show, The Rockers (Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty) defeated the Hart Foundation in a two out of three falls match for the titles and held them for several days; however, President Jack Tunney later announced that the decision had been reversed due to a rope coming off of the turnbuckle during the match and the win was never acknowledged.
