Carlo Carrà (1881—1966) était un peintre italien important, figure de proue du mouvement futuriste en Italie au début du XXe siècle. Carrà a suivi les traces de son père en tant que décorateur et muraliste, s’installant à Milan en 1895. En 1899-1900, Carrà est à Paris pour décorer les pavillons de l’Exposition Universelle.

By the time he was eighteen, he was traversing Europe painting murals and decorating pavilions at the Paris World Fair (Exposition Universelle) in 1889, when he was just twelve.
