Bad Iburg ( German: [baːt ˈiːbʊʁk] ⓘ; Westphalian: Bad Ibig) is a spa town in the district of Osnabrück, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated in the Teutoburg Forest, 16 km south of Osnabrück . Bad Iburg is also the name of a municipality which includes the town and four outlying centres: Glane, Ostenfelde, Sentrup and Visbeck.

Location. The Dörenberg, the highest elevation in the centre section of the Teutoburg Forest, lies between Bad Iburg and the Georgsmarienhütte village of Oesede, whereby the boundary of both parishes runs over its southern flank, close to the summit.
