Henry Brockholst Livingston (November 25, 1757 – March 18, 1823) was an American Revolutionary War officer, a justice of the New York Court of Appeals and eventually an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

Justice Henry Brockholst Livingston joined the U.S. Supreme Court on January 20, 1807, replacing Justice William Paterson. Livingston was born on November 25, 1757 in New York City. He graduated from the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University) in 1774, just before the American Revolution.
Livingston, a New York Jeffersonian, was among the best qualified appointees ever named to the Court. Before his appointment to the New York Supreme Court in 1802, he was at the top of the legal profession, ranked as an equal of his frequent sparring mate, alexander hamilton.
Henry Brockholst Livingston was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. He joined the court in 1807 following a nomination from President Thomas Jefferson.
