Pforzheim es una ciudad en el sur de Alemania, en el estado de Baden-Württemberg. Se encuentra en el valle del río Enz, en el norte de la Selva Negra, y tiene 119 839 habitantes (2008). During the latter stages of World War II, Pforzheim, a town in southwestern Germany, was bombed several times. The largest raid, one of the most devastating area bombardments of the war, was carried out by the Royal Air Force (RAF) on the evening of February 23, 1945. Some 17,600 people, or 31.4% of the town's population, were killed.
