The most infamous of Glamis Castle's ghosts is that of Alexander Lindsay, 4th Earl of Crawford, also known as Earl Beardie.
Ackergill Tower haunted. In the very north of Scotland, overlooking Sinclair’s Bay sits Ackergill Tower. When Ackergill was a de-luxe hotel, it was one of the favourite haunted castles in Scotland to stay in. It’s now a private residence. The story involves a local girl Helen Gunn, who was known as the “Beauty of Braemore”.
