Caterham ( / ˈkeɪtərəm /) is a town in the Tandridge District of Surrey, England. The town is administratively divided into two: Caterham on the Hill, and Caterham Valley, which includes the main town centre in the middle of a dry valley but rises to equal heights to the south.

Caterham on the Hill has a population of around 12,000 and, due to its proximity to London, is a commuter town, with small-to-medium sized businesses, several pub, restaurants and shopping areas. Leisure. At the former Barracks site there is an arts centre (The Arc) and an indoor Skate park (Skaterham).
