As one of the founding members of the jazz group “PIECES OF A DREAM” (1975-1990), Cedric A. Napoleon, bassist & lead vocalist, along with Curtis Harmon, drummer, and James Lloyd, keyboardist, turned what was originally a jazz trio into one of the hottest. R&B and SMOOTH JAZZ SENSATIONS.

The group was formed in Philadelphia during 1976 by bassist Cedric Napoleon, drummer Curtis Harmon, and keyboardist James Lloyd who were all teenagers at the time. The group based their name on " Pieces of Dreams ", a Michel Legrand tune recorded by Stanley Turrentine that they regularly performed.

Cedric A. Napoleon is now a Voting Member of the Grammy Board! Cedric is on staff at the Philadelphia Clef Club of Music and Perfroming Arts teaching Bass and Voice. Summer 2015.
