Charles FitzCharles, 1st Earl of Plymouth (1657 – 17 October 1680), was the illegitimate son of King Charles II of England and Catherine Pegge. He had a sister, Catherine, who is believed to have become a nun. [2] . His mother went on to marry Sir Edward Greene of Samford in Essex, and had one child, Justinia Greene. [3] .

Charles Fitzcharles, Earl of Plymouth was buried in Westminster Abbey on 18th January 1681 (modern dating) in the vault in Henry VII's chapel formerly occupied by Oliver Cromwell. He has no monument or gravestone. He was probably born in Bruges about 1657, an illegitimate son of Charles II by Catherine Pegge.
