Sarah Rosamund Irvine Foot, FSA, FRHistS (born 23 February 1961) is an English Anglican priest and early medieval historian. She has been Regius Professor of Ecclesiastical History at the University of Oxford since 2007, and Dean of Christ Church, Oxford since 2023.
Until my appointment in July 2023, I held the title of Regius Professor of Ecclesiastical History at Oxford University and served as a Residentiary Canon at Christ Church. My teaching and research have focused on women in religion, medieval monasticism and the early history of the English Church.
