Charles M. Rice. Es un virólogo estadounidense que junto a Harvey J. Alter y Michael Houghton, fue galardonado con el premio Nobel de Medicina en 2020 por el descubrimiento y posterior cura de la Hepatitis C. Nacido en Sacramento, California, en 1952, recibió su Ph.D. en bioquímica en 1981 en el Instituto Tecnologico de California.
