is the eighth and final season of the Alvin and the Chipmunks American animated television series. The series features the singing characters The Chipmunks and The Chipettes, produced by Bagdasarian Productions in association with DIC Entertainment and distributors Nelvana Limited, CINAR and HIT Enterainment PLC. Each episode is a spoof of a Hollywood film like Back to the Future or King Kong.
In 1990, the special Rockin' Through the Decades was produced. That year, the Chipmunks also teamed up with other contemporary cartoon characters (such as Bugs Bunny and Garfield) for the drug abuse-prevention special Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue.

The Chipmunks Go to the Movies is a 1969 music album by David Seville and Alvin and the Chipmunks, released by Sunset Records, the budget-line subsidiary of Liberty Records. It was the final studio album by Alvin, Simon & Theodore with David Seville, having been released three years before the death of Ross Bagdasarian.
