Worship is a cappella, honoring early church traditions. They also partake in weekly communion as an act of remembrance, and the Bible guides their beliefs and practices.

October 8 th will be our anniversary Sunday. This is a chance for us as church family to commemorate and celebrate God’s faithfulness to us over the last year. Darrel will be in to preach. Also, we will be enjoying lunch together as well as some fun games for the kids. (Please note that lunch will be in lieu of our first Sunday lunch.)

Christ Church Horizons The programme starts in Year 10, when pupils come to Christ Church to explore science or humanities subjects through a series of short academic tasters. The aims in Year 10 are to increase knowledge of the benefits of higher education, to raise awareness of the breadth of university courses and where they lead post-university, and to help pupils make informed future choices.
Christ Church sits in a land of about 175 acres (71 hectares). This includes the Christ Church Meadow, which is open to the public, Aston’s Eyot (an island on the east bank of the River Thames), Christ Church recreation ground, and and School Field. Christ Church has a number of Grade I and II, or architecturally significant buildings.
